Integration of sustainable energy systems in municipalities and regions

Starting from the most simple system, a single building, the subsequent challenging step is the integration of energy efficiency technologies and renewable energy technologies into the energy supply systems of municipalities and regions.

Also with regard to these topics the Energy Department is already integrated into national and EU research programs. The field of action for municipalities and regions extends from the basic question of the supply through groups of buildings and entire energy concepts up to the total management (adjustment of offer and demand) of current and heating.
