Sustainable energy systems in building technology

During the last decades, the national and international research has been focused on the development of new – or the improvement of already known – technologies for energy supply from renewable resources. Now, the general consciousness is growing that the success of energy efficiency technologies and renewable energy technologies is highly connected with an optimal integration into the total system. Also national and EU research programs are increasingly focused on system observation and system integration.

The ideal integration of energy efficiency technologies and renewable energy technologies into an innovative building technology is developed by means ofsimulation and with regard to the realisation of concepts, the protagonists from the economic environment are supported by means of high-quality simulation, test and measuring technology.
