Traffic safety information (RONCALLI)

The ultimate goal of the RONCALLI project is the integration of traffic safety data. For which an electronic market square has been implemented at a neutral place. The present open interfaces enable any user and interested party access to traffic-safety related contents in order to trade on for free on the market place.

In this project services were transformed which provide the road user with traffic-safety data depending on certain situations via a terminal. This is of great importance regarding the efficiency of the system because the customer must not be overburdened with traffic information. Therefore another objective is the definition of the profile of the end-user at the terminal. To guarantee traffic safety for all road users from different countries the aspect of "language independency" has been considered, i.e. the system must be comprehensible for all road users. As a result, differences in terms of perception can be avoided from the start.
