Floating Car Data (FCD) deliver flat information of travel time delay, whereas conventional traffic analyses are based on selective bulk samples. The primary objective is to receive flat information of current traffic amounts by merging both models through a "transformation function". The traffic condition (Level of Service, LoS) provides the link between different models. LoS can be calculated from FCD and also from conventional sensors. The transformation function must consider the statical and dynamic behaviour of LoS. LoS- lines have been successfully linked with methods from the cluster analysis.
