In inhabited and densely populated areas vibrations caused by railway traffic are very often a problem. The prognosis of effects to the inhabitants is essential for the planning of new or improvement of existing railway tracks. With a technology developed by arsenal research in connection with our
reaction mass exciter „VICTORIA“ the future vibration effects of trains at the location of a future railway track are introduced and the effects in the surrounding buildings can be measured.
On basis of these surveys it is possible to design vibration attenuating measures already during the planning stage of a new railway track.
