Monitoring of large thermal solar plants

Utilizing the experience gained in projects with complex system supervisions during the last years, the Energy Department currently develops cost-optimized and standardised concepts for the monitoring of large solar thermal systems.

In the same context, an evaluation of irradiance sensors for solar systems was performed and adjusted concepts for the metrological requirements in performance guarantee contracts were developed.

With its wide experience in quality assurance and metrological supervision of large solar thermal systems, the Energy Department acts as consultant for projects with large solar thermal systems and thereby serves the growing demand for expertise in this sector on the market.
