Rotor asymmetries - Vienna Monitoring Method

With the Vienna Monitoring Method (VMM), it is possible to detect electrical asymmetries in the rotor. This fault category includes defective rotor bars or end rings that can cause torque pulsations which are extremely difficult to detect, if at all, with conventional measuring methods.
